Just the opening notes of the theme song makes me so happy- it’s like little champagne bubbles up my back… I may have to go by myself, which is kind of pathetic, but I will!
I just spent the last hour climbing around the internets looking for spoilers to the Sex and the City movie. I know, I know… and I don’t care! It’s my guilty pleasure, and I can’t wait to see it! But… since suspense makes me nauseous and dizzy (really, it does), I will, I swear I will, actively seek out the spoilers. I hate not knowing what’s going to happen- I just have to know! Yes, I have been known to read the last page of a book, but only if it’s making me sick. I will, and if it’s my worst character flaw, so be it!
Plus, I’ve had a ginormous crush on Chris Noth since his Law & Order days.

I thought I was the only one who detested suspense. It physically makes me sick.
My kids think I’m evil because I read the last chapter of Harry Potter 7 before I’d read the whole thing. My mother thinks I’m evil because I was a notoriously good gift guesser. (I can neither confirm nor deny that a sharp knife, a deft hand, and a roll of invisible tape was involved.) I’m not evil, just sensitive to tension.

I love that, Jami! And am using it from now on! Even my kids make fun of me for my inability to deal with suspenseful situations.
As for SatC, I can not wait! Been watching all of the old ones on TNT lately even though they don’t do the justice. And, I have to confess, since no one on here really knows me so the judging will not be too heavy, I have changed my ringtone on my phone to the theme song. Yes, I have serious issues
And if you find out spoilers and put them on here, I will have you flagged! hahahaha

I hate suspense too. I always have to peek at the end of books, search out movie spoilers, and unwrap presents. It drives the husband crazy.

Ha! Me too! Only for me it was a straight razor and some clear tape. I admit it! I hate surprises!

I’ve seen almost all of the shows, would the movie really be that different?

I am afraid the comment space is just too small for my one-liners. Basically, just lead with a lot of sarcasm and you will do fine. And I love the idea of having a proxy! I have never felt so special

I have no R rule, but I am surrounded those who do.
I am leaving for girls camp on the 31st, and my mother-in-law (who has a no pg13 rule) is coming to help with my children while I am gone. She will be arriving on the 30th.
I am seriously planning a covert operation that will allow me to steal away from my home for 3 hours, see the movie, and return home under the cover of darkness. Black clothing and a ski mask will probably be involved but I don’t care. I can’t stand the idea of going to camp without seeing the movie first.
–I also read the last page, especially if it looks like things are going to end badly for a character.

Come on Sue, join the heathens on the west coast for a SATC party (lets see, it would only take me 10 hours to get to Tracy’s….). It stinks when your friends have the rule b/c it almost makes you have one by proxy…
I absolutely cannot stand confict no a movie screen or tv. I hate it (not so much in books). It makes me so uncomfortable. My daughter is the same way (her idea of torture is watching America’s funniest home videos)…
So, no one dies. Good.
